Morton was born in Ontario in 1953 and became the first student from his high school to earn a Division I football scholarship. He went on to play as a defensive lineman for the University of Michigan, where he quickly gained a reputation for his reflexes and aggression. Morton played in the 1977 Rose Bowl against the USC Trojans and would rank third at the University of Michigan for career tackles. He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills the year of the Rose Bowl.

In 2019 Morton appeared as a contestant on America’s Got Talent, where his impressions of characters from Star Wars saw him receive unanimous votes of approval from the judges. He received standing ovations in later rounds for his impressions of characters from films like Toy Story, The Lord of the Rings and Godfather.
